Squarespace website help

If your Squarespace site looks good but doesn't bring in enough inquiries or sales, the fix is usually the pages, forms and tracking, not the platform. We scope work on the site you have, and say plainly when a move would serve you better.

Stay and improve on Squarespace when

  • You like editing in Squarespace and the design still suits the business.
  • The problem is copy, page order, forms or tracking.
  • Selling is a small part of the site and Squarespace's store covers it.
  • Your catalog is small and stable, and checkout works for your customers.

Look at something else when

What Squarespace allows

From the platform's own help pages, linked beside each point.

  • Squarespace's export covers selected content, not the full design or every feature, so moving to any other platform means rebuilding the look and features. (Squarespace Help Center)

  • Products export separately as a CSV covering physical and service products, as they stand on the day of the export. (Squarespace Help Center)

How we work with that: improvements happen in Squarespace's own editor, templates and settings. A move is a planned rebuild with checked product data, never a one-click copy.

What we do on a Squarespace site

Each item is scoped and priced in writing before work starts.

Pages and copy
Rewrite and reorder the pages that bring in inquiries, so each one says what you do and what to do next.
Forms, calls and bookings
Check that every form, call button and booking link goes where it should, and fix the ones that don't.
Tracking
Set up or check Google Analytics and key events for inquiries and, for shops, purchases, within what Squarespace supports.
A small shop's setup
Review product pages, categories, shipping settings and order emails, and fix what confuses buyers.
A planned move, if it comes to that
When the store outgrows Squarespace, we scope a rebuild on Shopify with checked product data. Squarespace to Shopify

What to have ready

  • Your site address.
  • Whether the site sells anything, and roughly how many products.
  • The pages that bring in most inquiries or sales.
  • What isn't working: a form, a page, the store, tracking, or how the site looks on phones.
  • Who manages your domain and email today.

Please don't send passwords through the form. Access is arranged after the scope is agreed.

What changes the scope

  • How many pages need new copy, photos or layout work.
  • Whether the store is involved, and how many products and variants it has.
  • Whether tracking exists today and what it should count.
  • How ready your copy and photos are.
  • Whether the review points to staying on Squarespace or to a planned move.

How pricing works

You get a written scope, price and timeline before any work starts.

If the answer is a rebuild: website planning ranges, one-time (any platform)

Quick Launch Website
$2,500 - $5,000+

Prices shown are non-binding planning estimates for budgeting only. They are not guaranteed pricing, a contractual offer, or a promise to perform work for the listed amount. Final scope, timeline, deliverables, and pricing require a discovery conversation, review of project materials and technical requirements, a written proposal or statement of work, and a signed agreement. Third-party costs, ad spend, taxes, rush work, integrations, content readiness, revisions, and technical complexity can change the final price.

What we won't promise

  • A one-click copy of a Squarespace site onto another platform. The export covers selected content only.
  • Features Squarespace doesn't support. The scope says so instead.
  • A ranking, a traffic number or a sales figure.

Questions

Should I move my Squarespace store to Shopify?

Only when selling is the main job of the site and the store has outgrown Squarespace. Small, stable catalogs often do fine where they are. What a Squarespace to Shopify move involves

Can my Squarespace site be exported?

Partly. Squarespace's export covers selected content, and products export separately as a CSV. The design and many features are rebuilt on the new platform.

Can you improve my site without a redesign?

Yes. Most work is on the pages, forms and tracking you already have. The written scope lists exactly what changes.

Who looks after the site afterwards?

Squarespace runs the hosting. Pages, forms, products and tracking still need an owner: your team, or a monthly CARE plan. CARE plans
